Do I need to upgrade my existing computer equipment?
No, provided you have an Internet connection and web browser on your computer you can use Property Updates from any PC. We do recommend that you have broadband rather than a dial up connection.
Do I need to download any software?
No, Property Updates estate agent software is web based so there is no software to download.
Is my data secure?
Yes, all data is access via a secure web site that uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer Technology) which is the same level of security you would expect when buying items on-line. The data is held on a secure server in our UK data centre and only accessed by Property Updates staff.
How many users can I have?
You can have an unlimited number of users within a single branch, there is no minimum or maximum. Our pricing model is based per branch not per user.
What's included in the system?

Is my data backed up and do I have access to it?
Yes, your data is backed up every hour to a separate server within the same data centre then daily it is sent to another data centre off site over 50 miles from our main site as part of our company wide disaster recovery plan. We can also provide you with a copy at your request. There is also the option within the software to download the data yourself and each section of the system will create CSV data files for you to import into such products as MS Excel for your own use and as backups.
What support will I receive?
You will receive free, unlimited telephone and email support available between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Is there a minimum contract?
No, there is no minimum contract for our estate agent software. Payment is monthly in advance and all we ask is for 28 days notice should you want to cancel the service.
Do you upload to property portals such as Rightmove?
Yes, we upload property data to all the major property portals provided you have a contract with them. Also, if we do not upload to one you want us to we will set this up for a small additional charge.
Is the property search facility incorporated into my web site?
Yes, as part of the set up fee we will supply you or your web developer with the details needed to incorporate the property search and results pages into your own web site.
Can you redesign my web site?
